My beautiful baby girl Camille is born

My wife Grace just finished a marathon it feels like, giving birth to our 7.35 lbs baby girl. Grace didn't use any epidural and was instead using laughing gas for pain management. We came in to the birthing unit at 7pm but her contactions started around 3pm. Thank goodness my mother-in-law is here and Philip also agreed to sleep over to help her look after Kyle. I can't believe how much we missed Kyle as it was the first night we spent away from each other.

We received Camille Kate November 4 2009 at 1:53am at the Surrey Memorial Birthing unit. She came out very quiet at first but was soon crying and I immediately noticed her two dimples on her cheeks. Very nice. She also has a full set of hair already and I know she will be very beautiful just like her mother. I cut her umbilical cord and was very happy with the miracle. I just can't believe my wife's strength for delivering this bundle of joy. You should have seen Grace. She was in a lot of pain and I truly love her for going that.

We spent a night at the hospital just so they could watch over Grace and Camille Kate. I didn't actually get to sleep the night before and was so tired. I went home to see Kyle and we must have crashed at 8pm and didn't wake up until 6a.

I just wanted to get back home and away from any possible flu. The nurse saw us today (turned out to be Jade's ex-girlfriend Rena's mother) and she discharged us. We are now glad to be home. I've got some pictures to upload later so stay tuned.

 The Okta Certified Professional certification had to be renewed every 2 years and my maintenance exam was due on July 30, 2023. I was confident about passing the exam because I had just completed an HRIS mastering project and Okta. Student Story: A Bertelsmann Technology Scholarship in Artificial Intelligence

As part of the Udacity Bertelsmann Technology scholarship, I was asked to write a student story to provide feedback on the overall experience. How to Fix your Car A/C on a Budget?

I didn’t want to fix my car’s air condition system since it stopped blowing cold air close to 2 years ago now. I was delaying it because the initial quote I received was for $1200 after having spent about $200 for a failed compressor recharge at Vancouver Transmission Ltd. The pressure was not stable, so they said there was a leak and after running a diagnostic, they concluded it was compressor itself. They quoted about $1200 for the repair and that’s where I left it at because I couldn’t justify spending that much on a 2006 Accord with over 400K mileage. I realized how important air condition system was these past summer seasons when we were stuck in traffic headed to Seattle/Portland in 30 C heat. My family suffered through that trip and wife almost had a heat stroke. I decided to call my mobile mechanic to quote on the compressor replacement and recharge.
